Woodruff, SC- Shirley Zimmerman Woody, 86, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Woodruff Manor.
Born November 15, 1936 in Spartanburg, SC, Shirley was a daughter of the late Archie and Irene Cannon Zimmerman. She retired from Tietex International after at least 27 years of service. Shirley’s favorite past-times were BINGO and fishing. She loved being outdoors and had a soft heart for animals of all kinds.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Wood and his wife, Denise, of Roebuck, SC; and grandchildren, Joshua and Bradley Godfrey.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 16th, 1:00PM at Cedar Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
