Stella Sadie Novak

Spartanburg, SC- Stella Sadie Novak left the world on Monday, January 23, 2023 to join the many friends and family that went before her during her 101 years.

Stella was born on a farm in Enfield, CT on July 25, 1921. She was the last of the 5 daughters of the late Anthony and Rosalie Petroski.

Stella spent 46 years in Connecticut, then moved to San Diego, CA for the next 46, and finished out her last 9 years in Spartanburg, SC to be near her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Novak; and a daughter, Rosanne Berridge.

She is survived by her son, Walter Novak (Susan) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Seth Novak (Ashley), Adam Novak (Heather), Leah Ames (Dan) of Bremerton, WA, and Stacey Ammerman of San Diego, CA; great grandchildren, Stella, Aubrey, Hudson, Kiera, and Nadalie.

Services will be private.
