Steven Asbury Ward

Steven Asbury Ward of Boiling Springs, SC passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at the age of 67. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 24, 1958 to the late Mable Danehe and John Ward.

Steve will be remembered for his integrity, loyalty, and love. He brought light and laughter into every room and was an anchor of comfort and wisdom whenever someone needed him. He never met a stranger; his warmth, kindness, and genuine interest in others made everyone feel welcome. Steve was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. He was endlessly devoted to his beloved wife, Robin, whom he cherished above all else.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Tapp Ward; daughter, Jessica Lynn Ward; sons, Brandon Tapp (Jessica), Jason Tapp (Rachel), and Nathan Tapp (Brandy); grandchildren, Tyler Baker, Bryce Tapp (Victoria), Dominick Tapp, Skylar Tapp, Mason Tapp, Baylee Tapp, and Daxton Tapp; and brothers, David Ward and John Ward.

Memorial services will be 2:00PM on Sunday, June 14, 2026 in J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Dr. Todd Lowe.

Steve leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love that will be remembered by all who knew him.
