Sue Frances Wise

Sue Frances Borland Wise, 94, wife of the late George Musick Wise, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025.

Born on January 20, 1931, in El Dorado, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Thomas George and Christine Anderson Borland. Sue was a woman of deep faith and had been a resident of Spartanburg for the past 20 years. Prior to that, she resided in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, for 40 years.

She is survived by her sons: Kent Wise (Debbie), Bruce Wise (Jane), and Tom Wise (Myra); her seven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, George Musick Wise.

A private interment will take place at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, where Sue will be laid to rest beside her husband.
