Terry Drake Olson

Pauline, SC- Terry Drake Olson, 72, husband of Elaine Sanders Olson, died Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his home. Born January 25, 1950 in Badger, MN, Terry was a son of the late Adrian C. and Laverne Thompson Olson. He honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Terry retired from Polar Service Center as General Manager. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, and walking his dogs. Terry most loved time spent with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Elaine, he is survived by his sons, Brian Olson (Amber) of Springlake, NC, Chris Olson (Laura) of Spartanburg, SC, and Justin McCorkle (Lisa) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Katherine Olson, Maria Olson, Matthew Slaton, Nicholas Olson, Justin Olson, Lauren Olson, Erin Olson, Alexandra Holloway (Kenny), and Sarah Elizabeth May; great grandchildren, Adeline, Ruthie, and Eli; and his brother, Gary Olson (Jeanette). The family will receive friends Friday, April 29th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30th, 11:00AM at Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church. An inurnment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
