Viengkeo Betsy Phetasa

Betsy Phetasa was born in Laos and immigrated to the United States in the 1980s. She first lived in California before moving to South Carolina in the 1990s, where she made her home and raised her family.

A woman of Christian faith, Betsy found strength and comfort in her relationship with God. Her faith guided her life and was a source of peace for her and those around her.

Betsy is survived by her children, Sirany, Randy, and Nancy Phetasa, and her daughter-in-law, Jennifer. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Bryson, Jacob, Maddox, Nolan, Jariyah, Alba, Nixon, and Koa; her cherished fur grandbabies; and her three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children, Julie and Franky Phetasa.

Betsy is also survived by her siblings: Pakhamma and Rordsalee's families.

Betsy will be remembered for her strength, her deep love for her family, and her unwavering faith. Though she is no longer with us, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of the Lord. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM, at J.M Dunbar Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, conducted by Darrell Revels.
