William Franklin Sanders, 38, died Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Charleston, SC. William was born March 8, 1987, to Frank and Cindy Tabler Sanders. He was the older brother to James Cameron Sanders, who predeceased him.
William graduated from Spartanburg High School, class of 2005, and attended Clemson University, where he was an avid member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. William was an Eagle Scout at Troop 2 in Spartanburg, SC. He was a loving son, a loyal friend, and a steadfast fraternity brother. He was a kind, supportive gentleman and a man of many words. William was a true sportsman and loved being on the water every chance he got. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and loved working with his hands. He especially loved his work at Corky's Outdoor Power Equipment, Charleston, SC, where he worked several years and never met a stranger. William was an extraordinary salesperson. He was confirmed in the Methodist Church, and his family takes solace in knowing they will be reunited one day. The family covets your prayers for us as we grieve the loss our beloved son.
William is survived by his parents; his girlfriend, Megan Dixon, who he loved with all his heart; his maternal grand-mother, Pat Tabler; aunts & uncles: Eddie Sanders, Craig Tabler (Cecelia), Michelle Dietrich (Tom), and Julia Hollister (Chris); and many loving cousins & extended family. He predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Marion and Polly Sanders, his maternal grandfather, Mr. James C. Tabler.
A graveside ceremony will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd, Spartanburg on Saturday, December 20th, at 12:00PM. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
The family will be at the home.
