Steven Mack Satterfield, University of South Carolina quarterback, former football coach, and athletic director, passed away on Saturday, February 18th. Born October 3, 1937, he was 85.

His early life was a consistent highlight reel of athletic accomplishment. He was a three-sport star (football, basketball, baseball) at Greer High School and inducted into the Greer High Athletic Ring of Honor.
